You forgot to state two very important details: your age, and his age.
Weren't you the girl who asked the question about getting a cell phone? That means you're ten, which is too young for a boyfriend, especially since you don't know what to say to him.
Wait a little while! Just be friends with boys. Wait until you get to eighth or ninth grade to worry about boys again. You've got a whole lifetime of them ahead of you...
I was 12 when I had my first boyfriend. He was 15 at the time. We dated (secretly) for nine months, and I did something with him (not sex, but close) because I thought I loved him. Fortunately we still talk and are friends, but this is rarely the case with other pre teens in relationships.

i think this question belongs in the dating or relationship category but any way since you posted it here I'm sure know one would mind giving you advice so anyway just start off by saying Hi then when you catch him by him self just say hey I was wondering what your plans where for the weekend and if he says he's not doing anything then say oh you want to catch a movie or what ever you want to do over tyhe weekend just dont be scared because them some one else will make a move before you and there you lost your chance intill it doesnt work out with them good luck and how old are you anyways

initially, i understand i'm no longer a guy yet i'm gonna answer anyhow. Bring up the subject of, "so what are you doing this weekend?" and if he says"nothing" you say me too. say that your going to see a movie and see what he says. you should just ask him if he wants to go with you. from there, he'll know that you want to be out on a date with him

Say this..." We may not totaly know each other as well as I'd like to, But I would like to get to know you better, would you be willing to give me that chance...?" This is what you could say to ask someone you like out for a date...at least thats what I would say.
