I think the democrats are trying to rig this election by using the simple mentality of sex or race.

I should have asked how many African Americans are going to actually get out and vote next election because there is a black canidate.
That is if Obama gets on the ballot too!

I am offended by your question and some of these remarks here. A lot of people believe just because we are black that we vote democrat and that we do not have the intellegence to decide what we want or what policies that we stand for. The truth of the matter is that whites stand behind the repubes. I am independant. I do not have my head stuck up the donkey or the elephant's butt. THat is why we have been saddled with such poor presidents. All people see is the ticket and say if they are affiliated with a certain party then they win the vote and undying support. The sad thing is if it does come down to the election of 08, I think America will show how racist that it still is. I think that it will be a record number of whites at the polls to ensure that a black man does not become president. If anyone wins this ticket, it will probally be Hilliary. I think that people should be honored because for once a minority or a woman will have the chance to rule this nation. I think this spells growth.

Ya think? Blacks vote democratic @ 90 percent of the time so it really makes no difference who you put in there. The results would be the same. Thats a fact. They have that vote locked up and have for a long long time. I don't much agree with his politics but I like the guy. He is smart, interesting, and has a good way with people. Needs a little seasoning but I believe he will be a very effective legislator.

Black people almost always vote democrat no matter who is running. I am wondering how many white people will vote for him simply because he is black.

From what I hear they will make him out to be a sell out whitey just like they did with Condi, Colin Powell and Tiger Woods.
Then again they might vote for him as opposed to sHrillary.
