These are a low-estrogen pill, and I always, always take them on time. Is it okay to start my cycle before the inactive pills? Can this mean they're not working right for me?

if you just started to take the pills it will take about 2-3 months for your period to stabilize.

thats good news, u should not be worry , coz withdrawing a pill and having ur cycle is absolutely normal things..the last 4 pills are just iron pills ..and it is not estrogen at all.. so u should not be worry ..u r healthy person....but but if u r confuse seek a doctor for help..best of luck and be happy.

I was told by my doctor that as long as I get my period sometime during the inactive pill week, I'm okay....

So... I would definatley talk to your doctor about switching pills, yes

Ask your Gyn. He/she would know.

I'm on the low-estrogen pill myself and have never experienced getting my period before the inactive pills. I don't know what to tell you, except to ask your doctor.

It could also be an indication that something else is wrong, like PCOS, but you could definitely switch to a higher dose pill and see if that helps.

how long have you been taking these pills? It usually takes a few months to get on track.
