im pretty bad at these thins myself, but here are my suggestions.
You could try taking a language (like French or German) and model your names after it, sort of. Each one of my countries in stories i write has names inspired by different languages. or you could try writing your own language for your people to speak in.
you could try some writing help sites. I find these ones very helpful.

ok, only FYI, this sounds a lot like Harry Potter. and that i do no longer see why a "international" has to have a popularity. can we've a popularity for our international? We only call it "the international." it would make it seem greater sensible in case you only call it "the mystical international" or another nondescriptive term... stable success!
