Always use the spell checker if available, and when using a word processing programme ensure that the grammar checker is on. Read, read, read, every chance you can and anytime you come up against a word which you have problems spelling or understanding write it down, then every couple of days go through you list and check the meanings in a dictionary and write this down or practice spelling them by writing them out a number of times to imprint the correct spelling on your mind.
Do remember that people on Answers may be using the English spelling or the American spelling e.g. programme/program.
You could always try buying a spelling/grammar book which will teach you the difference between the meaning of words which sound the same such as two, to, and too and give examples of their use. The more you read the better your English will become. Enjoy!
