Not weird at all. Taste is taste...you like what you like!

It is because you have a feeling for your real history and ancestery. Mexicans are of Arab origin, except the Indians. And the Spanish from Spain is heavily influenced by the Arabs, because Spain was under an Islamic rule for 400 years. FACT.

Where do you think Mexicans/Spanish people get their names from, Omar, Jose, Zoraida, Amila, etc

History can explain this to you...

What's so weird about a 22 year old mexican that likes arab music? Is it taboo or something to like it when you're mexican?

You probably had a past live as an arabic person. It's not unusual. Read up on past lives more on the internet.
Like me, 2 years ago I had started to have a very strange homesickness feeling about the country Italy. I've never been there in my present life. Whenever I think about Italy, I get emotional and homesick. I loved italian foods and wines.
I loved italian people. One night I had a dream where I was in a different time period. I married an italian man and I was a french woman and we lived in Italy. This man had many mistresses and I was the faithful one. My husband also disrespected me. My best times was when I spent my time with the local children, like they were my own children. I also cried because I was in a loveless marriage.
After that I woke up and my memories of my past life in Italy were as bright as day. I started healing afterwords.

Nope.

Why would only anglos be allowed to be interested in other cultrues?

You like what you like. That's cool. Don't let people prescribe your tastes just because of the culture you were born into or because of your genes.

BTW: I'm an anglo. I love music from many cultures.
