There is an afrocentric group in Long Beach. We are about learning about African history. How African history has branched out into Hispanic and other cultures. I am wondering how many people are out there that are interested.

I'm interested although obvious with some grain of salt in terms of being intensional centricity on any culture.

I've read some interesting books talking about civilization and history of ideas/eventions.

One I'm listening to now is called: Guns, Germs and Steel

Another forgot name, ...

History of civilization cool.

I'd just like to say I'm sorry that so many people here are so insensitive and ridiculously racist. The responses this person is getting are absolutely awful.

On topic, I've never really been into afrocentricity, but I'm certainly not going to shout angry slurrs at you like the rest of these fools.

Not me, There's too much misinformation (building the pyramids, flying, having telekinetic powers, etc.) being spread around today like so much fertilizer.

It wouldn't be for me but thank's for asking. Hope you enjoy it just the same. I say I hope you enjoy it & still I get thumbs down? I may as well give up! I'm not gonna lie to you just to make everyone happy.
