No, whats brilliant is that almost every large attraction at any of the Disney theme parks empties (or as cast members say, "dumps") into a corresponding gift shop. Now that is genuis.

But Walt never came up with that idea - that came years after his death by Eisner.

Walt didn't invent lines. The cause justifies the means. I stand in line to...get a ride on Dumbo, get a chocolate covered banana, get money from my ATM, buy a $29.95 Goofy hat, go to the bathroom (mostly for woman at sporting events). People won't stand in line unless there's a prize, reward or service being provided.

Lol..Yep it is pretty genius! It's called marketing make everyone think they gotta have it. They all flock like sheep! I made the same mistake so Walt Disney got me! Lol Those lines are unbelievable! Still amazes me! He got me once shame on him, but if he gets me twice shame on me.

i am not sure he probably knew that most americans aren't intelligent and would wait in a stupid line for ever for a ride that only lasts 40 or so seconds just to get the thrill. we don't admit it but we are all thrill seekers

it's not like people are standing in lines for no reason. It's to go on rides, and have a good time.
