I've always heard it used in an old saying.
Don't get all bent out of shape.
another way to say "don't get angry"

I always thought it meant " Go F**K Yourself"
But I just love the people who put ..... it's a "nice" way to say it; don't they mean it's a "different" way to say it. I have never hear the saying in a way that was meant to be "nice" :-)

...and where are you from? smile 'get bent' is a term that means someone is intentionally drinking to get drunk.

I asked my mom this when I was about 14 and she told me in her not so blunt way that it is something you say to a man when you want to make it clear you are pissed off because you are telling him you want him to break his penis basically. Is that clear enough because I can't remember how many ways my mom had to say it before I got it. lol.
