I just recently joined a yahoo group and asked a question to the group members. WHat I received was not a warm welcome, but an email to the group about "responsibility" and how instead of always asking new members should read. Does anyone else think this is a bit harsh? I was HIGHLY offended by the comments in the response, so I have already unsubscribed to the group I just joined yesterday.

I was a member of a diabetes group and there was one woman who sent a introductory letter to every new member, detailing her recommended eating and exercize plan. If anyone had any comments or issues that did not conform to her way of doing things, she'd really chastise them and bascially accuse them of being stupid. She had the group leaders support apparently because no one ever told her to back off. I thought she was out of line, and eventually left the group. I want to learn about diabetes but if I have questions I don't want to be treated like a stupid child. You are correct, the tone of some groups is too harsh.

Being exceptionally has little to do with it. i'm extremely generic, yet my major different thinks i'm the finest searching chick round! My wager is that you don't understand a thanks to behaviour a relationship and act better jointly than you quite are. examine "Mars and Venus on a Date" for better information there. To get right into a severe relationship, you may ought to possibility your heart. it really is the way it is going. in case you meet any ability fellas, tell them you've been harm contained in the previous, and decide to take it slowly. do not supply them any information, for sure, they don't decide on to understand. "Cracking the affection code," via Janet O'Neal is yet another solid volume too. It helps you position into words precisely what you're searching for. a lot a lot less stressful to discover what you opt on in case you understand what that is! you'll understand that you're waiting to commence courting at the same time as all the products of your heart are again on your possession and sense they're contained in the right spot. Does your best chum's bloke have a brother? in spite of if he would not, he should be ready to introduce you to some wonderful blokes.

Well it depends on the types of groups you join, some of the members in the groups can be complete assholes, trust me I've dealt with that before, even in groups I created myself.
But you did the right thing by leaving the group, you saved yourself the trouble of online drama.

I applied for acceptance into a group and received a very angry email from the leader telling me that he needed more personal information. As a consequence of his email, I did not replay. He then proceeded to send a barrage of really nasty emails over a period of a week demanding me to send my real name and address I just ignored them. Any nut cake can start a group.... and they surely do.
