Ben -- I don't think it's underhanded. It's pretty direct, wouldn't you say? After all, you picked up on it. How subtle could it be? I think it's a fair question. I might vote Obama over Edwards just to hasten the process of getting rid of some of these fascist nut jobs that have pushed this country way too far to the right. Exhibit A = IRAQ. National disaster. Never should have been possible in the U.S. for this to have happened. Shameful.

Mightymo -- you are right. Germany probably doesn't want these kooks, either. We could put them all on a barge and just launch it into the great blue abyss. See if we can get some civility and intelligence back into our domestic and foreign policymaking.

Aaaah so is this some sort of underhanded attempt to call Republicans NAZI's.
So now you reference any German as a NAZI and anybody that does not agree with Obama is now a Racist. Why don't you learn what ethics are and maybe you wont write such vile crap.
In other words stop being such a devisive hate monger.
Edit: No being direct would be to come out and say "Those Racist Republicans." You are making quite the insunation in an underhanded tone. The truth is that it was Republicans that voted and passed the Civil Rights act of 1964. While southern Democrats( Democrats were the majority in the south back then) voted against it. Strom Thurman was one of those southern democrats that voted against it. He would later become a republican and help champion civil rights issues for minorities. So why don't all these Democrats go back to NAZI Germany if Obama is elected? Read an actually history book. Republicans now(if you can call them that) have been trying to push for school vouchers so that minorities can move their children to better schools. Liberals have been blocking that in order to maintane their strangle hold on keeping minorities down pushing propoganda to keep them as a voting block.
It was Democrats that passed the Jim Crow laws. They started the KKK, and worked to block every civil rights act from the civil war to the 1960's.
"To far to the right" John Kennedy would be the most extreme right winger in office if he were in today. More money has been given to social causes by our government in the last 6 years than ever has been given in the past. How can you say right wing?
Just because I picked up on it, does not make it not underhanded or not subtle. I'm used to reading deceptive and underhanded statements that lack any ethical integrity.
For shame indeed.
And I'm sure that the Best answer will go to the person that most agrees with you, since anybody else is just a bunch of dumb racist republicans.

How many of those Germans you're talking about are born in the states and lived there for generations.? Why would they go back to Germany, Germany wouldn't want them, they're Americans, they don't have german Citizenship and would need a Visa to stay past 6 months.

Your question has two problems with it.
1. Not all republicans are not are from Germany
2. Obama will not get past the primaries
But if by some strange twist this ObamaNation occurs then I would expect no one to move out of the country, like all those who said they would move out if George W. Bush got in the first time.

That wont happen because they still own the Supreme Court...you know the guys that illegally decided the 2000 election. Also if Obama really starts to look like a threat they will just have their buddies at the CIA assasinate him...just like they did with RFK in 1968.

LOL and somewhat honest. In the Midwest many whites are of German decent and many of them vote Republican. Some of them may leave if such an event occurs, but I don't know where the Anglo-Saxon south will go if Obama is elected. They may try to secede again.

The Major difference between Democrats and Republicans:
"When we lose 2006 election, we dont whine, we dont biiiitch, we dont blame Diebold Machines and we dont hate America. We lick our wounds and work for 2008."
and how many Democrats will move to Cuba if GOP wins 2008?? I guess "none"
they already made that promise moving to Canada in 2000 and 2004.... LOL
