It means that he will disrespect you and you will be disrespectful towards him too. Why don't you just tear your marriage apart before someone gets really hurt???? I bet it was his idea because he was bored with your relationship and you agreed to this stupidity because you don't have the guts to tell him you're not into it, or you are just afraid he leaves you for ever. At least show a little respect for yourself.

Open relationships are the 1st step to ending a marriage. Cause Hubby is going to be out there banging every woman he can get to bed down with him. You on the otherhand will have the opportunity to do that with whom ever you choose to do it with.
After awhile neither of you will be interested in the other and you might as well get a divorce.
The first time you see your husband with someone nearly half your age on his arm you'll know it's over between the two of you.
WAY BAD IDEA.

Lita, as someone who's been in in an open relationship, take my advice, DON'T DO IT!!!!!! All it is is concentual cheating. My wife and I were in an open relationship for a few years and it almost destroyed our marriage. If you value your marriage, DON'T DO IT!!!! Sex outside of the marriage is wrong. Your husband is the ONLY person you should have sex with and you are the ONLY person your husband should have sex with.
The reason I feel that it's a bad idea is because say you or your husband fall in love with someone that you have sex with, what is that going to do to your marriage, it's going to drive a wedge between you both.
SO for the sake of your marriage, don't do it.
