I have a NetGear WGT624v3. I tried going to http://192.168.1.1, I used an automatic setup, but it didn't work. All the settings were never changed. How can I set it up without the CD?

Nope only bypass to start>Run>type "CMD" then type "IPCONFIG" then write down your modems IP handle (assuming you have it plugged into the pc) Now open your browser and put in the IP handle without 'www." or something on the handle bar, it would promt for a password, i'm unsure what the internet kit person call and password is yet u can easily google it
