Jaya Bacchan has been sent to Rajya Sabha on Samajwadi Party Seat from UP. The Bacchan family has close links with the CM's family. In fact, he calls her his 'Rakhi' sister and due to this she was proposed as the SP candidate for RS.Now in the light of the recent Tehelka Revelations, the lid over the Nithari Carnage has been blown and it is now obvious that it was not an isolated incident as made out till now but a fully orchestrated event in which money-power was blatently used not only to buy the local police but also to buy the silence of the present UP ministers, one of them no less than the Brother of the present CM. In the light of the indignities suffered by the families of the poor victims ( Women(W) & Children(C) at the hands of the police in order to hush up the matter which resulted in the Nithari Psychopaths becoming even more adventerous, resulting in the death of even more victims, Shouldn't the Women members of SP like Jaya Bacchan resign in remorse for the Victims(W & C)

it was a matter where women and children were the victims. For hardcore politicians it is a matter of passing the blame on someone else rather than give up on Moral grounds unless of course they get a shock from someone whom they think is a close friend. This is where members like Jaya Bacchan who are also public-figures in their own rights should play Conscience- Keepers in the larger interest of the nation which they represent, first in the RS inspite of being elected on a SP ticket which was only a means to get there--no party comes above the nation. It was a plea to All Women members like her since it involved the weaker section-women and children--like themselves and so they must be concerned the most and would be in the best position to highlight to the nation so such things do not occur again.

Why did you choose Jaya Bacchan specifically for this?
The moral responsibility lies with the Chief Minister of UP.Noida being so close to New Delhi, home minister should also own the responsibility. Indirectly those who support Mulayam Govt are also responsible. The onus lies more on the elected member of the assembly or parliament and not so much on the person who has been picked up for a post.
As to putting rakhi is concerned, there were many who used to get tied rakhi from Phoolaan Devi, and there are many rakhi brothers of Maya Devi. Such things have a different connotation. Do not attach too much of importance to such things.
So, in this case to selectively pick up Jaya and ask her to resign would mean pick up any one on the road and tell him/her that he/she caused traffic jam!
