Rap music is the single most destructive media to hit the United States since the advent of Rock and Roll. Clearly all moral reasoning completely hinges on the music industry and independent thinking is a wasted commodity. It is rap music that is responsible for all social ills. Before you know it, they will want to let gay people marry and we all know that will lead to the downfall of all other marriages. I say we hold an album burning in Central Park and destroy all music and other media that does not fit with the right wing conservative republican mindset.

It would take a lot more than rap music to destroy America.
On the other hand, rap music does nothing to strengthen America.

Rap is destroying the way people used to think. Rap made simple minds. Rap made the incorrect listen to metal you may become politically correct. Most people who listen to Rap music are usually politically incorrect and unawake about the political world. Most of them are even blind liberals (even if they are poor). Back in the 90's people were the opposite of this, people were smarter.

LOL!
This question has been asked in multitudinous forms since Bill Haley strapped on his electric jazz box and tried to make the 'kids' swing, daddy-o...
Rock'n'roll will pollute the young, blah de blah...
Jazz will make white girls go CRAZY and go out with black men (GASP!)...
Dylan is too confusing and I don't understand what he's trying to, like, SAY man...
That hippy from Led Zeppelin should really wear underpants, I find it SHOCKING...
Punk music is just mindless NOISE (Gabba gabba HEY!)...
and now RAP.
BTW, I think yv missed the boat a wee bit on yr modern musical trends...
LOL!!!
Edit. Give the guy above the points for the most straight faced sarcasm I've seen so far!!

I can't be positive about this.
Some of the hardcore stuff would seem to encourage some sort of gangster lifestyle. It may make seem easier to get a name for yourself than to actually do something positive and worthwhile.
It has only a minor impact on the America that I see every day.

No, it is not. I listen to rap and it doesn't have any effect on me. America is being destroyed by their own decisions. No one makes people do what they do. They do it own their own.
