My friend brought it to my attention how weird her husband has been acting. He is 33 and things he usually would do he is ding and she also said he is now all of a sudden self concious about himself. This is a man who I saw to be very positive about himself. She brought this to my attention and now my fellow yahooers I am bringing it to YOU!!!

p.s. she said he is driving her crazy with it and affecting the relationship.

My husband went through his own "midlife crisis" years ago. He was the type who was always positive about things. Then one day he was a complete 180. He would cry all the time, half the time he'd say he didn't know why he was crying.

The only thing I was able to do was be there for him and support him in any way. I don't think it got to me because I didn't like seeing him in that state. Just tell your friend that she needs to be patient with her husband. Listening to him and just being there for him is really the one major thing she can do.

Men and women both at some point in their lives go through a midlife crisis, some are more extreme than others. Hopefully they have a good support system so they don't have to feel like they are "alone."
