What's a good comeback to say when someone makes fun of your name? Something that will defend yourself, keep your dignity and make them look bad?

Ask them if they know what their father's name is. This is especially effective if they don't and you are named after a family member.

don't laugh...give them the look...like you think they are the dumbest person on the planet.... and then they'll feel stupid
