The other thing that might be causing the loop to rip is the way you pull out your belt from your pants. Either you slide them out a bit roughly or inadvertently pull your buckle though and wear the seam out over time.
If you hang your pants by the loop on a hook with your pockets full, the weight will cause the seam to rip too.

Maybe Levi should make a better jean! I ve been wearing Levis for over 50 years and in the last ten years, all they do is tear our belt loops. I m done with Levi s! I ll have to find another brand of better quality.

Because Levi's are making cheaper quality jeans made in every country but the U.S. Never have I pulled up my pants from the loop and am very careful putting a belt in because of this reason. My brand new pair just tore.

its because then you get into a car or sit in a chair you are turning your hips to land in the seat. on the way down, thats the belt loop that rubs against the back of the seat. in the case of a car where you are the driver, thats the belt loop that is moat likely to rub the door frame. mostly its the chair back

The crotch continually wears out first on my denims it somewhat is the toughest section to patch. I usually go with to patch denims until eventually they modify into patch fabric themselves and that they specially try this astounding away as quickly as the crotch rips out. The crotch is the main perplexing section to repair with any hopes of it staying that way for long previously ripping out back. Belt loops are 2nd if some people you have popular concept it became into humorous to snatch them. they are in a position to be pulled off a ways too surely and can each and every so often rip your denims worse if that occurs.

It is because that is the loop you use to pull them up when you put them on in the morning. Once I figured this out I stopped doing it and bingo no more torn belt loops.
