Look at the rate technology has increased. Fifteen years ago the internet was hardly existant. Now everybody is on it. Thirty years ago a computer in someone's home was unheard of.
I think in 200 years:
-Cloning will be common place. People can clone deceased pets, etc.
-The internet will control everything. All TV's will be internet based, all car stereos, almost anything electronic
-Technology will go super-portable with people being able to access the internet from their mind, via microchip implant.
-Transportation will have greatly changed. We will probably have flying cars of some sort. Not neccessarily like the Jetsons where you can fly from planet to planet at your will, but there will be some sort of flying transportation. Mass transit like air planes will speed up ten fold! You can get from the US to Europe in an hour.
-Medicinal technology will also have increased. We will have cures for most forms of cancer and aids. Of course, new diseases will have popped up.
-Space travel is now rather common. You can visit the moon for a vacation (while somewhat expensive). There will be a resort up there.

there are 2 possibilities:
1) Looking backward 200 years ago versus today, the technology changes will be astonishing to us 21st people. Global warming will reset boundries and some island nations will vanish beneath the wave - but by then we may have discovered the secret to safely storing Carbon Dioxide, the main ingredient to the problem. The moon and Mars will have thriving colonies. At least the first interplanetary probe will be sent to another solar system in our galaxy at terrific speeds. A clean limitless power source will have been discovered and perfected. Osma Bin Laden will be dead.
2) World War III will break out and our decendents -those few who still live - will be eeking out a subsistance living off the contaiminated land in caves and stone huts. And Osama Bin Laden will be dead.

There won't be anything in 200 year from today, we've already dont the damage, in 200 years, if there are still humans, after nuclear war, global warming, ozone layer diminishing, animals becomming extict, pollution, etc. It wouldn't surprise me if it's back to stone age for everything, or a new ice age, whichever comes first I guess.

Well, if things progress the way they have been I fear that the height of technology will be the art of making a quality stone knife.

I don't know if my imagination is that good.
Super fast hover cars that run on solar power
Virtual everything
- virtual shopping in big department stores from your own home, choosing clothes to try on and seeing a simulation of what it will look like and then it is delivered to your door
- virtual movies that you feel like you are actually in
- virtual holidays, and visits to famous landmarks so it feels like you are really there.
Having our own super fast aircraft and being able to fly ourselves anywhere in the world we want.

On planet earth it will be destroyed by the nuclear wars. We will all be spirits sending telepathic messages and floating instead of driving; or it could be just like the Jetsons.
