Yes, I lived in Ketchikan for four months, but lived in Alaska's Canadian neighbor, Yukon, for 30 years. Alaska was my "backyard". Loved it!!!

My friends Millie & Dom have lived in Alaska SINCE 1955! In Anchorage, same house, and they love it there. I visited them recently before I started a Sierra Club trip up there and found Anchorage to be sizable and civilized--and surrounded by great scenery. My dad desires to flow there. i want to flow to Canada. He says Alaska is fairly like Canada, yet interior the U. S., yet i want to flow to Canada. i does no longer innovations although, if i did no longer have already got plans.

yes i am sure lots of people have, I live here currently,,,,and im looking fwd to our move in october 2009....Nice experience not a great place to live...too much crime,drugs,ect.
