Normally when a cricket is completely white, that means it has just molted.. On the other hand though, there's a lot of other ways a cricket can contaminate your tarantula. Things that aren't deadly to reptiles can kill your tarantula. I just had about 10 tarantulas die last week because of a bad batch of crickets. It's not uncommon practice for a cricket breeder to feed fresh produce right before shipping to keep the crickets from getting dehydrated. But, all it takes is one idiot not being careful enough when washing the pesticides off the produce. Then, instead of the crickets being a nutritious food for your tarantula, it's poisonous. Your best bet is to buy your crickets before your tarantula will need them. That way you'll be able to see if a bunch of them die all of a sudden. The bad batch I bought was mostly dead in a couple days as were my tarantulas.. Pretty much, if a cricket is acting funny, don't feed it. If more then a couple are acting funny, don't feed any from that batch.. If you end up with more then a few tarantulas, your best bet would be to start a roach colony. They don't smell anywhere near as bad as crickets, and they're a lot easier to grow. Then you can control what they eat and don't have to trust that someone else has made sure they are pesticide free. Some popular roaches are B dubia and lobster roaches..

locusts, mealworms, wax worms, roaches, curly wing flies, pinkie mice
just wanna add you shouldn't feed it bugs from the outside because the goliath is not native of this country and could eat a bug that is poisonous to it also there a risk of cross contamination with bacteria and mites also pestasides that could kill the tarantula
