If you are right handed, you are simply listening with your right ear and using the left half of your brain for conscious thought. To balance our bodies,we tend to have one half of our body leading, controlled by the conscious brain, with the other half balancing, controlled by the subconscious half of the brain.

left handed people simply have the subconscious part of their brain in the left hemisphere.

Dyslexic people have four sections to their brain, thus they may be able to use both halves of the body with equal ease.

I am "ambidextre" (use both hands indiscriminately) so, I don't have this problem..
