Anything they want to wear. Usually, people dress casually, wear lots of beads, or some wear costumes(on Mardi Gras Day). But you can't go wrong, with the signature colors of purple, gold, or green. I was born and raise in New Orleans.

Considering I have lived in New Orleans all my life, I generally would recommend wearing clothes... Some people wear costumes... Majority wear clothes...
