It should be possible, if baby is keen to let you know by lying in the right position. Baby will now have have developed all the right 'bits and pieces' so you will be able to tell.

It not only depends on the baby cooperating with you, it also depends on the quality of the ultrasound they are using. If they have a very good one, then you just might be able to tell the sex of the baby. If they have equipment which has not been updated in the last couple years, you might not be able to tell as well. Also, make sure you call you dr's office and ask if it's possible to have your ultrasound video taped or recorded onto a dvd. This is something that is fun to watch with your child when they're a bit older, or to even share with friends and family members. You can get a couple blank dvds or vhs tapes for under $5. My dr has told me that it's very possible to tell the sex of the baby at 18 weeks, however 20 weeks is the best. Good luck!

Yes you should be able to find out if the baby cooperates, drink lots of water before sonogram time, and if they say "you wanna know the sex" chances are they know. I found out at 16 weeks I was having a girl, 20 weeks for my son, and my oldest did not cooperate (girl and thought the whole pregnancy...she was a boy, people said...so don't always believe people) Good luck, hope you get what you wish!

yes you can but the dr will usually make you wait until you are 20wks. That way you'll have more of a definate answer. At 20 wks they are bigger and can't hide as easy as 17 or 18 wks.

So long as baby is feeling photogenic on the day, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to tell what you are having. Some hospitals in the UK have a 'don't ask as we don't tell' policy, so don't get your hopes up too high.

you should be able to , but depending on your health care some doctors dont like to do ultrasounds. I know I had the county with my first baby and they were not trying to give me an ultrasound and if they would have then I think I would not have lost my baby.

they may be able to tell reckoning on the area of the newborn and which device he makes use of. Which one they use definitely relies upon on your medical expert, ours does not actually have a three-d or 4d device. additionally, at in basic terms 17 weeks, the possibilities of the gender prediction being incorrect are lots extra undemanding. solid success and it sounds such as you have a super medical expert. i'm jealous.
