Generally speaking, vomiting is caused by your body trying to expel an unwanted substance from your stomach. This can be caused by ingestion of a substance that your body finds toxic (ie a poisonous substance or alcohol in too large of a quantity) or a virus (such as the cold virus or influenza) or bacteria. If you have been vomiting a lot for more than 24 hours, you should go and see a doctor because you may be dehydrated. If you have only vomited a few times, but feel otherwise fine, drink plenty of fluids and get rest and hopefully you will feel better soon.

Well, I take a chemo pill and I never know when its gonna make me throw up, some foods that have too much acid in them can really irratate some peoples stomach and make them sick and throw up. If you've ever had food poisioning or a virus-you wouldn't have any problems throwing up at all!
