Go to the county office where your deed is registered and they will help you find out about any liens. Go in the afternoon when they are slow.

Check at the courthose in the county for which your property is located in. If you don't want to do that just contact a title company and ask them to do the research for you. (usually they will charge)

Once, we had possums in our attic and we were going to call animal control..... oh, lien. Never mind.
