Any holistic or other method in relieving tinnitus?

I've had this ringing in my ears forever. It gets worse sometimes. The doctors say there is not much you can do, but I don't believe that. Any ideas?

Do a websearch on "alternative treatments for tinnitus" and read through the listed sites to see what is available. There usually is an alternative cure for things. Doctors don't always believe it.
