Don't like my choices.....and since life is all about choices, I would choose to be married and blissfully happy or single and enjoying everything life has to offer.....failure to me is not an option and neither is unhappiness...sorry...but life is what you make it....

Always alone and lonely, rather then married and miserable. At least if you alone you have the option to go out w/ friends, have a good time let your hair down and if somebody just so happens to come along, that you think will make you happy, your able to do so. Unlike being in a unhappy marriage, where your both stuck, yeah either one of you can go find somebody on the side. But, then you have even more of a mess w/ the cheating, lying, and madness going on. I my oppion, if your in unhealthy marriage i would suggest to try to end it now, while your still civil towards one another, instead of waiting 'till you just hate each other and its a big ugly mess.

Alone and lonely!!!!! as much as it sucks...I wouldn't go back to being married and miserable for nothing. Thats a hard life, especially if your misery is caused by abuse.
Sometimes when I'm out and I see a happy couple laughing and having a good time...tears will stream down my face and my heart will ache.
But when I think of the times I spent crying in my room afraid to leave even to go to the grocery store or to a friends to have lunch because I would have to face the 20 questions concerning my fidelity, it eases my tears and my heartache.

Ideally, I would like to be married, but live like a bachelor. That means, I got my woman that loves me and have a few kids. But if occasionally I feel the need, It would be great to get something new and exciting on the side.
This way your married and not miserable and not lonely.

I would rather be alone. If I got lonely, I would start looking for a mate.

Why do you frame both cases in these depressing options?
Listen to me: you can be single and happy with peace in your life.
You can be married and having the life, you want & you deserve.
It all depends on your options, choices and the people you pick to spend your life with.
Happiness is a choice just like misery.

I'd rather be alone for all the right reasons than be with someone for all the wrong reasons.
