I see that in this morning's papers, Howard Wilkinson has joined Stuart Pearce, by publically lecturing his new player, Jon Stead, telling him, "not to dive."
Is this refreshing?
Should other team's Managers, be ordered to join them, or, is it something that should be left to each club's disgression?
What would you like to see happen?

I hadn't heard about this. I'm glad some have nads to chastise a player for cheating. I'd guess most managers don't like to see it, but they don't do anything to discourage it. I think the decision should be up to the club.

Yes the managers bought the players in the first place and its up to them what they do on the pitch like ruining the game of football by diving. Plus Saffron Boudoir's answer is wrong, as Fegie criticises his players when he needs to but since Ronaldo used to dive everyone now thinks every single time he falls hes divnig. He used to but he doesnt any more. Fergie is one of the best managers around so dont go criticise him when you probably wouldnt b able to do much better

The referee has got to keep giving the guilty Football Players cards for diving, then it could be up to the Manager to fine him as well. I think if enough of them are sent off, the others will take notice, and hopefully it will stop.

Every bit of play on the pitch should be traced back to the managers so if someone dives, persistently, then I think the manager has to take some kind of responsibilty

Kind of an obvious answer here, do you not think? Hypothetically, this would depend on your Friend and how much of the Piece of the Action he would require. Some can be a blessing; as others will open doors for you for their own benefit. This tends to be in direct proportion to the Social Status of a particular group.

Football, this is the worst game going, it's full of cheaters, men diving all over the place what is the point? you don't get that in rugby, that game is played by real men. If the football players wanted to dive so much they should have taken up swimming.

see sir alex ferguson, he supports c'ronaldo whenever others accuse him of diving. i think he's a bad example. he should either just shut hi mouth up or leave the topic alone. c'ronaldo will learn his lesson. i would like to see a manager criticise his own players if he dives, that's to show his own sense of professionalism and justice.

Wait until the likes of Wenger and Mourinho berate their players and they get fined and banned by the FA then I will applaud.
