At 19 weeks pregnant I often feel my baby kicking at night but some nights I don't feel it very much like tonight, is this normal or could there be something wrong?

This is very normal. Your baby is moving all the time, but only some of those movements are strong enough for you to feel.

I am 29 weeks and had similar things happen when I was about as far along as you. Your baby has periods where it is asleep & awake, and you might not feel anything while they are sleeping. Mine loves to become active when I lay down to go to sleep, I guess since I'm not up walking about doing things. It's normal for them to kick and for you not to feel it, or not notice. Unless you don't feel them move for a few hours I wouldn't be too concerned! Best of luck!

It was normal for my baby. Maybe he's sleeping. But just to put your fears to rest always ask your ob/gyn.

I know as a new mom you can get worried over nothing. Just remember that you can ask your doctor anything-just pick up the phone. It's your little angel you're worried about-don't ever feel like you can't call the doctor.

I wish you and your little one all the very best. Children are such a blessing!!! Good luck-not that you'll need it. :)

Nothing's wrong and it depends on the kid.
My oldest son was so active, he kicked and rotated from 6 mts all the way down the birth canal. I had to take a muscle relaxer just to sleep at night.
My youngest son was so quiet, I had to check him with the stethoscope to see if his heart was still beating.
They're grown now.
My oldest son drives his car like a bat out of h.e.l.l.
My youngest son drives like somebody's grandma.

At 19 weeks, the baby can have busy days and lazy days. It's totally normal :) Sometimes they want to party and sometimes they want to nap. My baby is always very quiet on the weekend...every baby is different.

Don't worry about it! :)

That is not unusual for the baby not to move. It has to sleep too. You are barely in your second tri-mester and the baby will become more active but is not going to move constantly. So don't worry. Enjoy this is a beautiful time experiencing your baby.

First baby? I think it's ok, try laying on your left side and talking to her/him. Also try to drink something cold! He/She could be sleeping. I used to read to them, sing, and put a clock radio with a timer by my belly when I was trying to go to sleep and they weren't. I would set it for 30 minutes, and she/he would listen to the music (soothing...like love songs or something), and then go back to sleep. If the cold drink don't work, or the laying on your left side, and you're really concerned, just call the doctor! Good luck! Do you know what you're having?

It's very normal at this stage. Some women haven't yet felt it.

don't worry, they are surely fine, I was always paranoid about my daughter because she hardly ever moved, but she was just a quiet baby. Fear not, and congratulations!
