There is a cure for regret: apology with repentance. It worked for me and it can work for you too.

Once an old wise man told me this about regret:
If you did something in the past & now, you regret it.
Think like this: at that time, that moment, that was the best option available to me according to my thinking or the circumstances back then, so I did it.
Now, I have changed for some reason and I will not do it again. That was me then, and this me now, and I am different.

It is very hard ,but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. There are always areas of life to discover and as you lend yourself time it gets better.Try to make decisions even if they are only small and insignificant.Because in time those decisions grow easier to make and therefore you make headway in your situation.Regret can be a harsh teacher but it can be overcome by moving on to another part of your life .There is always a silver lining! Life is full of pain and then the Sun Shines!

Simple, don't have any. It should only be regret if you make the same mistakes over and over. You can't undo the past and you have no control over it, you just accept it, learn from it and move on. Mistakes and regrets, in other words, are learning experiences to help us grow...unless we never learn from them.

I've learned to live and let live...depending on what type of regret, you may be able to forget about it, but if you're constantly reminded of it, maybe there's someone who can help you learn to live and deal with it.

What has happened cannot be changed although it can be taken as a warning of what might happen again, a learning experience.

You don't have to learn to live with regrets, you need to live without letting them dominate your thoughts.
