He said it was called"Agoogle" or"Google" Something like that. I wonder if he was right or not. I don't want to mis inform my son. Please help. All answers are very much appriciated.=)

There are many numbers named that are larger than a google. But so far a googleplex is the highest number named. This website explains it.

There is no "biggest" number -- I recognize you understand
that. The web site:

http://www.math.com/tables/general/numnotation.htm

gives the common names of very large and very small numbers. For
reference: a "googol" is a "1" followed by 100 zeros, and a
"googolplex" is "1" followed by a "googol" of zeros. That, according
to the web site I found is the largest named number, but that is
very artificial, because you can easily construct a larger number of
a "1" followed by a "googolplex"of zeros, and you could name it a
"googolgoogolplex" -- and you could repeat this procedure indefinitely.

A googolplex is the highest finite number named, but technically infinity is the highest named number, by definition. In addition, there can never be a named number higher than infinity.

Google (just like the website). 1 with 100 zeros.

The highest named number is a googolplex. 10^googol. A googol is 10^100 therefore a googolplex is 10^10^100

The highest number is whatever the highest number above is plus one plus infinity to the infinity power, then one more than whatever anyone else is going to say after I finish typing.

---------------

Hey, the only sensible answer is "infinity" -- the concept of the eternity of increment and decrement. If you ask me, the whole exercise is excrement.

the biggest number i know is a googleplexian, go to google.com and type that in and youll find one of the links that say that,

A GOOGLEPLEXIAN has a googolplex of zeros

A googol has "1" followed by 100 zeros.
A googolplex has "1" followed by a GOOGOL ZEROS ( RIGHT DOWN THERE)
10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000
A googolplexian has "1" followed by a googolplex zeros

So, that means it would have 1 with
10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 zeros
NOW thats a huge *** number

Well, infinity is not an actual number it's just an "expresion" because nothing in real life is infinity.

So googolpex or whatever it's called BS
