I'm sorry to hear about the accident and your injuries. Hope your recover is going well!!

Only your doctor will be able to tell you what condition your ankles are in after they heal. And if he/she says they're not healed right then you may have a problem with heels. However, the only way to know FOR CERTAIN is to wait until you're fully recovered and then slowly work your way into heels. Only YOU know what your body is capable of. And pain is an indication to re-think what you're doing...If it hurts, STOP!!! Re-evaluate your condition/situation before continuing.

Think of the MANY stories of people who are told by the Dr. that they'll never walk/speak/see/ski/roller blade/WHATEVER EVER again...Yet right now they're doing exactly what they were told they couldn't do!! It's all about YOU, how YOU recover and how bad YOU want to wear heels again!!!

Yes you can, but you need to be very focused on your physical therapy. The therapists will give you the tools to return ankles to good condition. Do not wear heels until you are completely through with your recovery and have a clean bill of health from your orthopedist. I have broken my right ankle 3 times and had surgery twice (I have also broken my left ankle twice). I wear high heels all the time but I am very conscious of the ground I am walking on and pay close attention to uneven surfaces. I believe you will naturally become more aware of how you walk and how good your balance is- and remember this- pain is your body's way of telling you something is wrong- pay attention to that pain!!!! Happy shoe shopping!!
You may want to start with wide, short heels and move up to thinner longer heels. :)

Yes but it wasn't just a I didn't study I have to cram kind of thing I would study a lot beforehand but I have always had a lot of trouble sleeping and stress made it even worse so I would just use that time to study because I couldn't sleep at all before exams. Then I would get home after the exam and crash and then start studying for the next one, after I week of doing this I just about fell asleep walking and fell and took out the entire lag of my pajama bottoms and the skin on my knee good times.

You should ask your doctor about it. I crushed 3 vertebrea in my spine in a car accident, so I know how bad that sucks. I can do a lot of things i didn't think i could like ride horses and stuff like that. I'm pretty sure you'd be fine, but just ask you doctor just in case.

well, i think it depends on how badly you broke it. I think you can if they're very little heels.

Your doctor should be the one to determine that. I am sorry to hear about your misfortune though.
