EXACTLY! What this proves is one glowing fact: THE TERRORISTS ARE WINNING. 9/11 was six years ago and Bush laudes himself over the fact that no terror attacks have occurred since then. So why are people still so freaking terrified? The reaction of the Boston authorities was completely overboard.

What kind of terrorist uses a lite brite as a WMD?? And who places a WMD in conspicuous places so that EVERYONE sees it?? Hello!!!!!!!

Granted, it was a lame advertising gimmick...but the reaction was ridiculous.

GENE M: Go back and read it again yourself. Boston is the ONLY city that reacted so completely overboard. The other cities took them down, but probably more to keep people from getting injured by trying to climb on bridges and stuff to steal them after the media frenzy that Boston caused. They had been hanging in some places for more than two weeks. Seattle was very NOT concerned about them.

It was only Boston that went overboard. The ads were placed on birdges and other odd areas. The ads were light up ads and people saw the wires behind the ad leading them to think it was a bomb.

Well, if you put them on underpassses near subway stops and near major ROADWAYS, AND, as some one said wires were coming from the and had batteries. Boston was the only places that found them, and if you moonbats read the news articles you'd know that even those cities found them ONLY AFTER BOSTON DID and NOT before. Each Police Dept said they would have reacted the same way as Boston did. Those dirtbags deserve Jail PEROID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

because they didn't look like cartoon ads They were circuit boards with batteries and wires attached......and then the terrorists (excuse me) idiots put them in strategic places like bridges and major intersections...... In the times we live in now perception is everything.....and what they did was perceived to be the possible act of a terrorist.....

Had they not checked it out and something blew up or released something bad, the same people condemning this "overreaction" by the authorities would be the first ones screaming not enough was done to protect them.
