The so-called "peace" prize has gone to terrorist Yasir Arafat and not to Ghandi who has been a greater inspiration for peace than anyone. It has gone to terrorist-loving Jimmy Carter and not to Ronald Reagan who dismantled mutually assured destruction. Calling it a peace prize is like nicknaming a tall guy shorty and a short guy stretch. Is the Norwegian parliament trying to say Al Gore is a terrorist?

If I did something worth a world recognized reward I would accept it. Just because some bad people have gotten it in the past doesn't take away from it's original intent.

No, I wouldn't accept it. I've done a lot of good and loved a lot, but I didn't earn a Peace Prize.

I hope Gore wins the Peace Prize. He deserves it for all he has done to promote awareness of global warming.
