I think it's great that you want to celebrate your birthday in a unique way. Here's a fun suggestion. Work with a couple of friends (and parents) and do a progressive dinner. A progressive dinner is where you have each course of a meal at different homes. So you might start at your best friend's house for appetizers (or snacks) then head to another friend's house for some light dinner (hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos or something like that) and then head to your house for cake & ice cream.
To make it even more fun, have a digital scavenger hunt along the way. Each team (of 3-4 people) gets a list of tasks with points assigned and has to take a picture (using a digital camera) doing the task. For example, one of the tasks is to take a picture at a fast food restaurant playing on the playground. You give only a certain amount of time between stops of the progressive dinner and a completion time. At the end you put all the memory cards into a computer and view the pictures each team took. It's a ton of fun and totally different! Here are some suggestions for the digital hunt activites.
playing on the big toy at a fast food restaurant (like McDonald's)
church message sign (one of the signs on a church that has a little message on it)
Hanging on the monkey bars at a school playground
picking up garbage on the side of the road
making a human pyramid
picking weeks at someone's house, with owner in the picture
taking the garbage out for a business or home (with manager or owner in the photo)
Etc. These are all just suggestions. If you know where any teach lives, you could get a photo with a teacher or pastor or youth leader. You could also get photos with one person wearing a strap on belly at a maternity store. You can also assign points for different tasks to see what team gets the most points. Be creative! Have fun! and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Oooh! TEEN party!!!!
What do YOU fancy? I mean- what are your fav things?
For my daughter's teen party we did a limo ride to a recording studio where she and her four friends recorded their own "album".
:-)
She STILL rants about it.
OK- that is not cheap but I think even if it had been a visit to the studio (the cheapest bit- we paid £100 for the five of them for 3 hours and they EACH got the full CD to take home) she'd have had the time of her life.
Nice thing about the studio- with the staff there the rest of us were COMPLETE AND UTTER novices and they still sounded really good.
:-)
The next year we did a beauty treatment visit and then a posh dinner.
Before that we did themed parties- a Grease style disco, a swimming party at an amusement park style pool...
And a visit to the local zoo with a picnic can be ACE even in the rain!
Or a horse-ride in the local countryside? Quad ride?
If you live in the city then how about a really interesting museum where you can go with a nice group of folk and then eat in the museum's cafe.
Whatever you do- do something DIFFERENT and MEMORABLE as you only get one teen birthday. From now on in it gets serious as you are "growing up" and your folks may wish you to scale down.
:-)
Hoping they don't!
Birthdays are great fun.

My freind just had her B-day and she invited a lot of girls to get all dressed up in dresses and stuff, and than we ate dinner at a resteraunt. You don't have to go to a reasturent (I'm sure it'd be expensive!) But, you and your parents could make your favorite meal and eat it at your house with like, the good silerware (lol I don't really know if you have good dinning wear, my faimly dosen't but some do) and watch movies, and stuff. Happy Birthday!

Sleep over with 4 friends or something. Watch movies, play games, and watch PG-13 movies.
