Half fill a bowl of water, place some lemon slices in it, microwave uncovered for approx 5 minutes. It'll no only take the smell out of the microwave it'll also loosen any 'mess' which is then easy to wipe off with a cloth.

Baking soda and water mixture or vinegar and water mixture. Run the micro for a few minutes with a water mix right in it. Microwaveing dishwater is also a great way to get way to start the cleaning process. That crunchy stuff to lifts off easier.

Hi there. Clean with soap and water, dry thoroughly. Place cut up lemons in a bowl of water and cook in the nuke for 3 minutes and allow to cool before removing. Grind the lemons with ice in the garbage disposal to freshen that too. Have a great day.
