Its kinda weird if it does... I wouldnt do it.. But im just curious.. And can you doo good stuff to someone.. or just bad?

Hi-yes voodoo is effective. However, like any practices with magic and the like, it should NOT BE MESSED WITH!! IF u r NOT studying the culture, then do NOT attempt an event of the sort. I am a practicing solitaire; i am NOT wiccan, however, something called a 'poppet' and these dolls are primarily used for WHITE magickal purposes *and designed for the 'intended' purpose and its 'receiver'; for example: a friend came to me and wanted some help with a particular health issue...the poppet (which u can purchase fr yr local occult shop or make yourself) is filled with herbs and ingredients designed for that particular health issue and contains a "tie" to the person it is intended to assist...BUT like I already mentioned, anything to do with magickal practices is very TRICKY/scientific and one should thoroughly research what one is doing and thoroughly PROTECT her/hisself, environment, and those that dwell within as the universe is NOT something to 'mess with' and the consequences of ones actions may NOT be one of intention or of POSITIVE results!! (I have been studying for years and will still b learning for the rest of this life+!

If your talking about the Voo Doo Dolls, yes it works, its called Laws of Contagion, it works on other things besides Voo Doo Dolls, but Voo Doo is a religion, and as with any religion, it can go good or bad depening on who is the welder. magic just is, it the users intent that makes the difference. in the case of the Laws of Contagion, it is a case of the user manipulating control of someone else. i have never know that type of magic to be of good use. but i am not an expert so i may be wrong

first off, no, the traditional voodoo you see in movies isn't real and doesn't work for the most part.
second, it is a religion, and like all religions, it has the potential for either great good or great evil, depending on the people who practice and how they handle the power given to them.
any group of people who believe in the same thing and can unite themselves and focus their will have power, they can do things past what a single ordinary person is capable of unless that person is gifted with great will and determination. groups of people working together can pool their energies and use them to accomplish things that are impossible for a single worker . however, if the group turns to darkness, then so to will all they wrought turn.
there are many things that science, for all it's wonders, can not explain.
as another poster has said though, please do not try anything on your own if you have not gotten training , some doors are better left unopened, and some things are too powerful to play with.

Voodoo works the same way that prayer works. It can be good, and it can be bad, but mostly good.
Only, with voodoo, you are praying to 'deities' that are represented by saints, and it only works if:
A-You truly believe it'll work.
B-Whatever you are trying to do was Meant to happen.
Another words, you can do voodoo to get a million dollars or kill your evil next door neighbors, any more than you can pray for it to happen!

OK people that is not evil IT IS HOW YOU USE IT. It is just like black magic but voo doo is a religion. SO IT IS NOT EVIL.

The voodoo you hear about in movies is just that, hollywood fiction. Most voodoo practices today are a combination of African mythologies and Christianity.

Please read up on different cultures before you say they are "bad". Voodoo is a beautiful culture and should be studied before it is condemned by "civilized" people. It is NOT evil. Don't listen to what "bad raps" people give to others because they don't understand them...READ.
