She's sure to write something after Harry Potter because she's an amazing author. She has said she may write books that she mentions in the Harry Potter series, like Hogwarts, A History. She's done that before with 2 books, written them & published them under the fictional character's name that wrote the in the HP series. I think it would be interesting for her to do this because it gives you the Harry Potter fantasy type, but it's not actually about him anymore.

J. K. Rowling has discussed the possibility of writing another charity book, like "Quidditch Through the Ages" and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them." This book would be like an encyclopedia of all the information she has about the Harry Potter universe but hasn't found a place for in the books.
She has also said that it is possible that if she decides to publish another book (on a completely different topic) she would consider using a pen name and that she doesn't think it will be a fantasy.

Read this article in the NY Times. It talks about the potential of Rolling publishing another book. One potential reason why she might not publish again is explained in the following paragraph
"And the end of the Harry Potter series is not the most pressing problem facing publishers of books for children and young adults; competition from other forms of entertainment is the real threat. “When you look now at an 8- or 10-year-old, they are truly online, they are IM-ing their friends, they are text-messaging, they have an iPod where they are watching and listening to music,” said Susan Miller, president of Mixed Media Group, which develops books, television shows and movies for children. “They have a lot of other ways to spend their time, media-wise, and if you like to consume stories you can be watching something on the television. There are a lot of places for them to be entertained.”

I luv her books and i think she should but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is coming out in July.

she'll probably write another book, although she doesn't need to considering she's a billionaire...but this will be the last harry potter book.

no and i soooo wish she would...shes only writing seven the next one will be her last...its coming out in a very long time..like 2 years, hope this helped
