according to my husband it's Wayne Gretzky
but i have'nt been watching long enough to really be able to tell you
but my hsband swears up and down Wayne Gretzky is the best player in NHL

Since you didn't specify the time frame, i'll go with a safe bet and say Wayne Gretzky. If Wayne could back in time 3-5 years he would still skate circles around Crosby.
