Any number of things. The most common problem with dropping a psp, cd player, anything with a laser is knocking the laser out of whack. Go to a Gamestop or some place like that that does repairs. If they can beat the prices of a repair done by Sony than go with them.

Note: You are going to have to have someone repair this. This is not a DIY project. Do not open PSP or any warranty or cheaper repair charge will be void.

Let me get this straight. You dropped your PSP and it isn't responding? Now, I'm no PSP expert but you should go to the store where it was purchased. Or visit PSP's official site and there might be a number you can call. In most gaming systems there are. If you still have it, check the original instruction mannual it came with.

run on sentences. yet all psp's have firmware. yet custom firmware is what sony would not want. you're able to have a psp fat with firmware a million.50 and play ISO and CSO video games and emulators like snes and ps1. on valid firmware it is straight forward to have ps1 video games yet it quite is it. you're able to get a slender. to get custom firmware from valid firmware you're able to have a pandora battery and magic reminiscence stick

umd slot is probably jammed, if it still works (besides for the umd slot) then downgrade it to a 1.5, get homebrew, and get free games.
