Boozer and Yao will both be replaced. Ray Allen will get Boozer's spot. To those who say Melo - you don't get an all-star berth playing only a few more than half the games. Allen will get Boozer's spot, and after that I would have to say Howard, Iverson, Leandro Barbosa, and Elton Brand would be considered. Probably Brand will get Yao's spot. Howard has been too streaky... he is very talented, but I don't think he is an all star YET. Next year, definitely, but this year... not QUITE yet.

Josh Howard will forever and always be my favortie player out of that rookie class. I remember watching the draft thinking he would go no lower than pick 6. Then telling everyone the steals of the draft would be 1.) Howard and 2.) Wade.

With that said, I think Ray Allen should get the nod over Howard. Howard should get most improved player of the year no doubt, but I've seen Allen single handedly keep the Sonics in games they shouldn't have had a chance in.

Anyway, aren't there two spots open in the West?

If mello doesn't get yao spot than there is some serious issues with the all star selection process. He is the nba's leading scorer and is not an all-star, Thats some serious BS. Howard is a great player but i feel that the spot rightfully belongs to anthony

why yao still got voted in after it was clear he wouldnt play i dont understand. the league should eliminate guys who will not play in the game or have only played like 10 games (ie shaq). ben wallace should be the starter over shaq. anywho, melo definately should be going. howard is pretty sick, but i dont think he has put up all-star #s. put it this way, if jason kidd isnt in the game, then josh howard shouldnt be either (nor nash, tmac, etc)

I think josh howard is well deserving to be in the all star game. 19 Points/game, 7 rebounds/game, one of the reasons the team is on fire right now.

Our specialists describe you as an appallingly boring fellow, unimaginative, timid, lacking in initiative, spineless, easily ruled, no experience of humour, tedious employer and irrepressibly drab and poor. And while in maximum professions those could be important drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they're a favorable boon.

YES! Who deserves it more? Don't you dare even say Carmelo! He does not deserve it after what he did! This will teach him a lesson!
