I am 16 years old, 5'6 and about 140 lbs. My size is usually around 7, or 27x31. My problem is that I'm a little short (not SUPER short though...) and I have chubby thighs. It's hard to find comfortable jeans! Either they're too long, too big in the waist if they fit good around my thighs, or too small in the thighs if they fit around the waist! It's not that I absolutely can't get normal jeans around my thighs, but they're not very comfortable AT ALL! And I'm really picky about my clothes being comfortable. I have one brand of stretch jeans I like (Angels), but they're really thin and don't last very long. They also make me look shorter, and make my thighs look bigger! What jeans can I buy that will be comfortable, might make me look a little taller, and will make my thighs look trimmer?! I'm sick of having to wear a belt with my jeans all the time even when the belt looks funny with what I'm wearing!
PLEASE HELP!
THANKS!

I have the same problem!! I am 5'3, 125 lbs, but I'm 34-26-36, so I understand how hard it is to find jeans when you have curves! My favorite jeans are Seven for All Mankind, they're expensive, from $125 a pair. But if budget is a concern,Levis Super Low Rise jeans are awesome! For your size, try either a size 7 or, for more comfort, try the 5 in stretch, they hug your curves, but also allow room to move, so they won't feel too tight around your thighs. I hope this helps!

You'll start finding jeans that fit properly when you actually spend a little money for them. You don't have to spend $100... but upgrade and you won't have as much problems. The morey expensive the jeans are, the more renown the company is, they spend more time on making the clothes fit to the body rather than the cheap jeans that are (not after sale) $20-$30. You'll get more options in sizes such as S or P (small or petite) R (regular) or L (long).

The jeans that i like are silver (certain styles) since the stupid skinny jeans are out not much luck for me! lol but anywhy i like american eagle there not bad..the other day i was at nordstrom and i got a pair of !1T's baby jeans and i love them their pricey but their worth it. I don't know where you live but their is a story called maurices and i love their haley wide leg they fit nice and there pretty cheap like 30..i am sure they have a website! But other then that just keep searching! And oh try lucky jeans yeah there pricey but it seems like for me all the pricey ones fit better go figure?

Hollister jeans are the best...They're comfortable and they make you look good and skinny. They have a range of sizes and you can get a size seven short! Most of their sizes come in short and regular. If they don't have your size in short, ask one of the salespeople to look for it in the back, but make sure you try them on before you buy them. The price range is from expensive to about 20 bucks in clearance. And sometimes the jeans in clearance are the best. Good luck!

Customize jeans at Delia's or Alloy. Dont get a skinny type of jeans or anything that closely fits your thigh. Try trouser type of jeans.

Gap sells a "curvy jean", which i saw on Oprah. She tried it on and it looked pretty good. Someone told me about Joe's Jeans "honey" fit, which apparently are made for your body type

umm. I don't really know any good brands, but you can always try on pair after pair after pair and you'll eventually find some that are good. Or if you're willing to spend some money, then you can visit a tailor or seamstress and have them custom made!
