I have created a huge mall in my game, and I need like 20 people to run the buisness right, and the game will only let you hire 8 people. Are there any cheats or anything that can be used?

Lot limitation - you can't have more than playable 8 sims on a lot. Therefore if your sims is running the business I believe you can't have more than 8 controlable sims on the lot. I don't use that many as too hard to control and makes my game lag.
But as suggested above go to the sims 2 official web site and ask on the forums.

I love Sims 2! I don't know the answer, so I would recommend going to www.thesims2.com and posting it on the BBS. The people on there are Sims 2 addicts and they know everything!
