Definetely Kurt Angle! He is the best technical wrestler of all time and he is extremely talented. If you want to compare his overall wrestling you should do that to people like, Chris Benoit, and The Undertaker not John Cena. Cena's wrestling skill is exactly the same as Batista does. They both receive a considerable push in WWE so people tend to agree that their wrestling skill is the same as experienced wrestler such as Angle, DX (HHH & HBK), Benoit and Taker. But, my point here is that in reality Angle's wrestling overall is definetely much better than Cena.

If you want to talk about a no-brainer, then Kurt Angle. Angle used to compete in the Olympics. He is a five time WWE Champion as well as being a Grand Slam Champion. I think that Angle will definitely become a future NWA Champion. John Cena couldn't wrestle to save his life. It was a braindead mistake on the part of the WWE to put Cena over Angle. I also feel that it is worth mentioning that Kurt Angle has an opportunity to be the second Triple Crown Champion in wrestling history since he won the WWE and the WCW Titles, and he is a 2000 King Of The Ring Winner. Kurt Angle by a landslide.

Let's do the tale of the tape

Kurt Angle:

WWF Heavyweight title defeating The Rock (October 22, 2000 - No Mercy);
WCW World Heavyweight title defeating Booker T (July 2001);
WWF Heavyweight title defeating Steve Austin (September 23, 2001 - Unforgiven);
WWE Undisputed title defeating The Big Show (December 15, 2002 - Armageddon:):
WWE title defeating Brock Lesnar and The Big Show (July 27, 2003 - Vengeance):
(WWE) World Heavyweight title by winning a 20-Man Battle Royal (January 13, 2006)

This doesn't even count minor titles and tournament wins or the olympics.

John Cena:
WWE Heavyweight title defeating John Bradshaw Layfield (April 3, 2005 - Wrestlemania 21);
WWE Heavyweight title defeating Edge w/Lita (January 29, 2006 - Royal Rumble);
WWE Heavyweight title defeating Edge w/Lita (September 17, 2006 - Unforgiven);

Angle on the Mic: Believable, yet childishly heel

Cena on the Mic: A pretensious rip-off of people like the Rock and Steve Austin

Kurt in the Ring: Technical, high flying, scientific, all around a great wrestler.

Cena in the ring: Shoulderblock, spin out powerbomb, million dollar fist drop nicknamed after british slang for masturbation, an over the shoulder cutter, and a really crappy fireman's carry slam, and recently an STF, which Stone Cold Steve Austin once used as a submission finisher. Typical brawler

Conclusion: Angle's more diverse, easy to work with, and puts on longer and better matches. Cena could be likened to Ultimate Warrior in his lack of ring savvy and predictablility.

Kurt Angle is by far more decorated, better on the mat, and better on the mic.

Clearly Angle. He's a real wrestler. Cena is just a poser. A poser as a rapper, a poser as a wrestler, and a poser as a Marine.

In a real match Angle would break Cena's neck like a twig.
