I am quite happy -- I willingly state that I would not trade my wife for any woman in the world, because she is just about perfect for me. Together, we have made two gorgeous, intelligent, and charming daughters. Is it all rosy and great? Well, we are talking about fallible human beings here, so of course not. But it is good. It'll be 21 years in July.

I have been married 6 years and 9 months. If I think back to all the times we fought, argued and add those times up....hmmm....
I think we have been happy for 6 years and 1 month. There were rough spots scattered through all of those years but in general we are pretty happy people. Usually the BIG arguments didn't last more than a few weeks. We are reasonable people and can work out the majority of our differences w/o fighting. Plus, we were on the same page on many surprise issues that pop up in life.
So, am I happy? Yes, I am happy and very satisfied with my life and my husband who is also my best friend.

Married for thirteen years, four kids. What do you mean by truly happy? It has not been a pleasant stroll through a wildflower garden on a late spring day the whole time for sure, but I don't think I'm unhappy. I think that if you are wondering about this in your own life then you will never be happy. Happiness is not something you have to stop and consider.

I've been married almost 7 years and I have been very happy the entire time. Sure, I get irritated at him once in a while, but I know my husband means well, is a good person and truly loves me and our children.
Being new parents is hard and we're both tired... but when we have alone time I feel so happy and in love. He's really a great guy. I love it that he comes home and wants to play with the kids.

Very happy. My husband and I have been together for a little over 5 years and we have been married for almost 3 years. He is an awesome man. He treats me like a Queen and treats my son from a previous marriage as if he were his own. My son and I are truly blessed to have this man in our lives. My husband and I have alot in common, which I think makes us very compatible. We have the same goals, alot of the same interests, and like to do alot of the same things. I thank God every day for having this man in my life, and I thank God even more that I am not still married to my ex.

We've been happily married for almost 37 years. It takes a real sense of compromise and forgiveness, not to mention some shared interests.
Living with another person for a long period of time requires some give and take, assuming that both people are loving and not seriously neurotic.
