You have so much, so many other things in life to look forward to. But, without the hard parts and the sorrows, the wonders of life will have no meaning. There can't be good without bad, the equation always balances.
Too many people are looking outside themselves for the joys of life. In reality, they are inside of you and you have the chance to make them wonderful. It is up to you. I didn't start off well and made lots of mistakes when I was your age. I had no idea where I was going either. A wise person had to repeat the very basic lesson about our choices to me many times before I got it. Guess I'm a slow learner.
Every negative in life has a positive side and every joy has a sorrow. Look around yourself, there is an amazing and beautiful world around you and it is waiting for you to become a part of it.
There are all sorts of things out there for you. There are places you've never been, friends you haven't met and loves you have yet to know. Go out and let them find you. All you have to do is make the choice to experience the joys of living. It really is a wonderful life.
