I learned that there are no basic roles for any happy relationships or marriage.
What could work for you does not have to work for me, and the other way around.
Each individual is really different from one to another, based on age, life experience, old relationships, education, financial state, family, culture and more.
I hope there is a book or remedy that will tell you exactly what could work or not.
Or, what to expect if you decide to get married at this age for a man that age.
I trust my intuition and I really listen to my heart.
Your inner voice tells you how to act.
Any relationships (whatever the form of it) need time and effort to make it work.
Nothing in life is for granted. It is an everyday work, understanding, dealing with new topics and solves it.
Even friendships needs work and efforts.
In addition, do not forget the chemistry between people that will decide if you are both belonging to each other or not.
Life is too short ….
Once you find someone that really make you feel good about your self and bring the best in you, go for it.
Good luck
Cheers

I'm 38 - but I'm a year and a half from the big 4 0.
It's better to be single - a lot of married people are miserable and hate each other's guts. At least I wake up every morning with somebody who actually LIKES me - instead of looking over to someone who would be overjoyed if I died in my sleep!
I would like to be happily married one day - but since I don't know any women who are anywhere near wife material, and all the married people I know hate each other, I don't think that's likely.
Better happily single than unhappily married.

I would think it is totally a personal choice but if it were me I would say married having someone in your life to help you through stuff is great support and well you also inherit family from his/her side as well I couldn't imagine being single again as long as I live married life rocks thats if you find the right person.

That depends on the person. Some are happy to be married, some are not.

hi, nicely 1st of all u could end letting him understand how desperate u r. end asking him approximately whilst u will see one yet another lower back & end maximum of all speaking approximately marriage. attempt to end paying a lot interest on him additionally. he might desire to are turning out to be to be burned quite undesirable to be like this soooo u might desire to make him sense insecure like u do good now. so attempt to no longer call him & do no longer ask approximately whilst the subsequent time is that u r going to occasion & whilst he calls u be busy with different plans with the girls & take time to have women evening out without the boyfriends around. he will think of he's dropping his touch & want to guess that he will ask your self what's occurring with u? if u can stick to those issues that i've got mentioned to u then u will see for your self that the CHASE is on & in line with threat then whilst u have him good the place u want him u won't want him anymore cuz u continually want what u won't have the ability to have. and that's the case with u. see if i'm good & stable success! bb

I guess it is individual. In my personal opinion, it is better to have a family. Plus, men have big life crisis at 40. I don't think it is easy to go through it along.
