This coming Wednesday is the biggest rivalry in all college sports (arguably in all sports). UNC vs. Duke college basketball. UNC has a deeper team with a ton of talent and have been obliterating its opponents ever since losing to Va Tech, they have scored at least 80 pts in 16 of 22 games. Duke has more players that are more experienced (both teams are young, but Duke has more non-freshmen impact players), they have the lowest points against average in the ACC, they have great 3 pt shooters. So who will win Wednesday at Cameron Indoor? And who will win March 4th at the Dean Dome?

Unc, no doubt
the blue devils will be good in about 2-3 years, but right now, the tarheels are the best team in the nation without a question. They got one of, if no THE, best player in the nation in Hansbrough, and they got a great recruiting clas this year. They are also fast, and the like to fast break a lot. That is why i think Unc is better than duke.

It's the fiercest rivalry in all of college basketball so it could go either way and I wouldn't be surprised. But on paper UNC should beat Duke at least once if not both times this year. Duke has no go to guy like UNC has Tyler Hansbrough. Without the go to guy, you have offensive droughts which seem to plague Duke at the worst times (see the Virginia game last night). That being said I see Duke back to it's former glory next year, just sort of a down year for them. So in the end it's a rivalry game so it could go either way, but if you put a gun to my head I'd say UNC.

The TarHoles haven't swept this series in a while. They're 'supposed' to be the superior team, but you can put the stats out the window anytime these teams play. Just because UNC is a paper tiger this year, I have to say...

Duke all the way!!!

UNC is likely to win as they are clearly the better team this season. However, this is the Duke/UNC rivalry and this game is almost always close.

I say the two teams split.

UNC is going to win because they are scoring over 60 point in one game and the DUKE are only going up to 60

without a question UNC will win both games and will probably win the NCAA championship because of how deep they are, they have Tyler Hansbrough and Brandan Wright they have some guys that would start for other ACC schools that come of their bench, and Duke is hardly more experienced but that dosen't matter as much as talent. My prediction: Heels 77 Duke 63

D U K E -- you can talk all you want about players experience etc. it comes down to 2 things: who's at home and coaching....both in duke's favor!!!

UNC will win both games i think they are playing well and i think they will continue to play well until they lose to florida in the final four. (i am not saying they will go undeafeted, but i don't think they will lose to duke)

UNC. I mean who's going to do anything to Tyler Hansbrough? Josh McRoberts? Right.
