i always pity for poor tom!jerry seems a bit sadist and sick but ppl always like jerry more!

I always liked Tom more, I wished that he would have just gotten a hold of him and won! I always liked Wile E. Coyote too over the road runner! I liked Tom and Jerry the most when they actually teamed up with each other as friends and went against the other tomcats outside.

Jerry is a cute little mouse. Tom is cool to though but Tom can also be a little mean but thats what is funny about the show

I Love them both, but for some reason I hate Tom cause he's being so Rude with Jerry.

I think people are generally inclined to root for underdog...er, undermouse. TOM is about 20 times bigger than Jerry, and, let's face it, cats generally tend to prevail in these sorts of duels.
Jerry just wants to be left in peace, but Tom is always trying to GET him. Jerry is only defending his turf.

Because Jerry rarely instigates the violence between them, he just finishes what Tom starts - this ignores the fact that, because he's the House Cat, instigating violence against mice is actually Tom's job (and the only reason that the humans keep him around).

They probably like him, because even though for mouse he always has a trick up his sleeve. I'm like you cause when ever tom gets in trouble I'll always go like poor cat. Because Jerry wants kill him or something.

ive never liked that rat bastard jerry!!! tom would have eaten him right up if that black chick with the cankles wasn't always hitting him with brooms and crap
